a powerful new hosting option to replace Cloud Sites!

Laughing Squid Hosting offers traditional hosting services using the Cloud Sites platform at Liquid Web. Our hosting plans include control panel access, SFTP, PHP 8.0, MariaDB 10.1, and many other great features.

CS 1 — $6/month

2 GB of storage
50 GB of monthly bandwidth

CS 2 — $8/month

3 GB of storage
60 GB of monthly bandwidth

CS 3 — $10/month

4 GB of storage
70 GB of monthly bandwidth

Forwarding — $3/month

NOTE: The Forwarding Squid plan is for domain forwarding only. It does not come with any space to host a website. You should only choose this option if you need to forward a domain and/or want to use a domain for email only (mailboxes are billed separately).

50 GB of monthly bandwidth

Rackspace Email — $3.00/month per mailbox

– POP and IMAP email accounts (25 GB quota per mailbox) and email aliases
– browser-based access to email via webmail
– email spam filter

Volume Pricing

Volume pricing is available for customers who need additional resources. Add-on packages come in $4 increments and include 1 GB of storage and 10 GB of bandwidth.

Once you have exceeded any of your quotas, the appropriate number of add-on packages will automatically be added to your account. If later on you have reduced your usage, you can request to remove the add-on packages.

If you know you are about to exceed any of your quotas, please submit a support ticket through our Help Desk to request the appropriate number of add-on packages.

Add-on databases are available at a cost of $1/month each.

The maximum number of databases allowed per domain is 5.

Dedicated IP Address

If you require a dedicated ip address for your SSL certificate on Cloud Sites, we charge $2/month per dedicated ip address.

Standard Features

The following features are included with all our hosting plans:

Storage (Disk Space)

Storage is the total amount of disk space that is used by all the files associated with your site, including log files and databases.

Please note that email storage is a separate quota.

Bandwidth

Bandwidth is the total amount of data transferred from the server each month and this number increases as your website is accessed more often. The more visitors you have, the greater the bandwidth you will have each month. This figure is also influenced by the size and type of files visitors are requesting, for example audio and video files use up much more data transfer than text and images.

Email Storage

Email storage is the total amount of server space that can be used by each mailbox associated with your domain. This is a 25 GB hard quota, so if it is exceeded, then any new email sent to your mailbox will bounce back to the sender until you free up some space by deleting or downloading old mail (including deleting sent mail).
